How to Build A Celtic Roundhouse

116

Learning how to build shelters in the wild is crucial to surviving in a SHTF scenario. This shelter is a primitive technology from the Celtic culture and is quite an amazing feat.

This is one of the most interesting shelters that there is for surviving in the wild in a woodland setting.

“We spend the day gathering materials needed to construct the traditional Celtic roundhouse. The majority of the wood we are using is Cedar, of which there is plenty in this woodland. The Viking house saw horse was resurrected and we gave it a little makeover and adapted it to our needs….peeling bark using a draw knife. We are aiming to thatch the roof on this build and also cob the walls. Who knows….we might even build a few beds and a cooking area inside!”
